Payroll Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced People Function Operations Lead to manage end-to-end People Operations with a strong focus on Payroll, Retirals, Compliance and People Function Service Delivery Excellence. This role will be driving process improvements, ensure statutory compliance and deliver an exceptional employee experience through efficient and scalable HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead payroll operations and retiral processes, including Provident Fund, Gratuity, Superannuation, Pension, and Full & Final Settlements.
- Oversee employee lifecycle transactions, master data management, benefits administration, and organizational changes.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, data privacy, and company policies.
- Review and govern complex employee transactions, audits, and data quality controls.
- Drive operational excellence through process simplification, automation, and Lean methodologies.
- Manage service delivery performance, stakeholder relationships, escalations, and reporting.
- Lead workforce planning, team capability development, coaching, and succession planning.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, Rewards, and external vendors to deliver compliant and efficient people services.
- Support digital transformation initiatives and continuous improvement programs across People Operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, Shared Services or Employee Lifecycle Management.
- Strong expertise in payroll administration, retirals and statutory compliance.
- Experience leading teams and driving operational excellence in a complex service delivery environment.
- Knowledge of HR systems, process automation and continuous improvement methodologies.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
