Job Summary
The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing the hotel's revenue and profitability through effective pricing strategies, inventory management, demand forecasting, and distribution channel optimization. The role works closely with Sales, Reservations, Front Office, and Finance to achieve budgeted revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns.
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance reports.
- Manage room inventory and optimize availability across all distribution channels.
- Recommend and implement pricing strategies based on market demand.
- Oversee OTA, GDS, and direct booking channel performance.
- Conduct regular rate shopping and competitor benchmarking.
- Prepare demand forecasts and revenue budgets.
- Lead weekly revenue meetings and provide actionable insights.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to develop promotions and packages.
- Ensure rate parity and maintain pricing integrity across all booking platforms.
- Coordinate with Reservations and Front Office to maximize room revenue and upselling opportunities.
- Generate management reports and present revenue performance to senior leadership.
- Monitor booking pace, pick-up reports, cancellations, and market segmentation.
- Ensure compliance with hotel revenue management policies and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in Revenue Management within a reputed 4/5 star hotel.
- Strong knowledge of PMS, Channel Manager, CRS, RMS, and OTA platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make data-driven decisions.
