The carpenter is responsible for production, finishing, and assembly of wooden toy products, often working in a workshop setting using both hand and power tools to transform wood into finished toys.
- Production & Fabrication: Cutting, shaping, smoothing, and assembling wood according to design specs and prototypes.
- Finishing: Sanding, staining, varnishing, or painting toys, ensuring they are smooth and free of splinters.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring all products adhere to child safety standards, including non-toxic finishes and secure assembly.
- Material Selection: Choosing appropriate, eco-friendly, or safe timber, such as hardwood, for durability and child safety.
- Prototype Development: Assisting in creating new toy concepts or working with designers to iterate on 3D models.

Requirements and Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in carpentry, woodworking, or manufacturing, with familiarity in small-scale fabrication.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand and bench power tools.
- Precision: Exceptional attention to detail for accurate measurements and high-quality finishing.
- Qualifications: ITI qualification in carpentry or vocational training preferred.
