Job Summary
OJAS TECH SOL is seeking motivated and detail-oriented GIS Engineers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of GIS concepts and be eager to work on geospatial data processing, digitization, mapping, and quality assurance projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform GIS digitization, editing, and feature extraction.
- Create, update, and maintain geospatial databases.
- Interpret satellite imagery and prepare accurate GIS maps.
- Work on topographic, cadastral, Lidar, and utility mapping projects.
- Conduct QA/QC checks to ensure data accuracy and quality.
- Update GIS datasets as per project requirements.
- Meet daily and monthly production targets.
- Follow project SOPs and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Team Leads and Project Managers for timely project completion.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of GIS concepts and spatial data.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS.
- Understanding of map projections, coordinate systems, and digitization techniques.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Geography, Geoinformatics, GIS, Civil Engineering, Survey Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in GIS, mapping, or geospatial projects.
- Freshers with relevant academic knowledge and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in topographic, utility, or cadastral mapping projects.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
