Position Overview
TD Williamson is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to support global procurement operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is primarily transactional and execution-focused, with responsibility for purchase order management, supplier coordination, and data accuracy across Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and Microsoft AX.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders (POs) in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or Microsoft AX
- Send and maintain open order reports to track supplier performance
- Update and maintain accurate delivery dates
- Troubleshoot and resolve Exflow issues, including invoice and workflow errors
- Support NCR (Non-Conformance Report) processing and resolution
- Ensure pricing and parts are accurately quoted each time POs are issued
- Monitor and manage a high volume of purchase orders, including 50+ POs per commodity manager and approximately 100 total POs
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, timelines, and issue resolution
- Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including engineering teams (electrical, mechanical, structural)
Work Environment & Team
- Support a procurement team led by Purchasing Managers, Commodity Managers, and Procurement Supervisors
- Operate in a highly transactional, tactical buying environment
- Manage a high-volume workload using structured procurement processes
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers
- Onsite training with the opportunity for ~2 days/week remote flexibility once ramped
- Exposure to manufacturing environment and supplier network
- Must be available to work in the 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing, buying, or supply chain support
- Bachelor of Engineering required
- Experience working in ERP systems, with D365 or AX strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage high-volume transactional work
- Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with NCR processes and quality workflows
- Experience using Ex flow or similar AP/invoice automation systems
- Exposure to supplier communication and coordination
