Job Title: Chef de Partie (CDP)
Job Summary:
Manage and oversee the assigned kitchen section, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and operational efficiency while supporting the Sous Chef and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage the assigned kitchen section during daily operations.
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation consistency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and storage standards.
- Manage stock levels, requisitions, and minimize food wastage.
- Train, supervise, and guide Commis I, II, and III team members.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service operations.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Catering Technology, Culinary Arts, or a related field (mandatory).
- 3–5 years of relevant kitchen experience, including experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of food production, cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
- Ability to lead a team and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Compensation:
- Fixed Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹33,000 per month
Supervises: Commis I, Commis II, and Commis III Staff.
