Apparel Merchandiser (Kidswear)
About Us:
ADORE-A-BOO is a growing online kidswear brand dedicated to delivering premium, comfortable, and stylish clothing for little ones. We are looking for an energetic, resourceful, and hands-on Apparel Merchandiser based in/near Tirupur to spearhead our end-to-end production operations.
Role Overview:
As our Apparel Merchandiser, you will be the bridge between our design concepts and the final product. You will take complete ownership of the production lifecycle—from sourcing low-MOQ vendors in Tirupur to managing final warehouse dispatch. If you thrive in a fast-paced e-commerce environment and possess a sharp eye for fabric, fit, and cost-efficiency, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Sourcing & Negotiation: Find and onboard reliable production units in and around Tirupur specializing in low Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs).
- Pattern & Technical Development: Collaborate on developing new, kid-friendly patterns and grading sizes accurately.
- Production Management: Oversee the complete production workflow, ensuring optimal fabric cutting techniques to minimize wastage.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous product inspections, ensuring flawless stitching, kid-safe trims, correct labeling, and packaging compliance.
- Inventory & Warehouse Control: Manage stock keeping, organize warehouse inventory, and ensure seamless dispatch for online orders.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 2–5 years of merchandising experience, specifically in the kidswear segment.
- Local Network: Deep, established connections with fabric suppliers, printers, and CMT (Cut, Make, Trim) units in the Tirupur hub.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, fabric consumption, and cost optimization.
- Attributes: A problem-solver with excellent communication skills, capable of managing tight timelines independently.
