Primary Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise all preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure smooth operation and maximum uptime of production machinery, equipment, utilities, and facilities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment failures.
- Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities for improvement in reliability and efficiency.
- Coordinate repairs, troubleshooting, and corrective actions for equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, machine history, and spare parts consumption.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, and other departments for maintenance requirements.
- Inspect and monitor plant infrastructure, utilities, and facilities to ensure proper functioning.
- Prepare maintenance budgets and control maintenance-related expenses.
- Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades, modifications, and replacement requirements.
Safety & Compliance Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments of machinery and equipment.
- Investigate equipment failures and safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain statutory records related to equipment, electrical systems, and utilities.
Asset Management Responsibilities
- Maintain updated records of all company assets, machinery, tools, jigs, dies, and equipment.
- Monitor equipment lifecycle and plan preventive replacement or refurbishment activities.
- Ensure proper identification and tracking of maintenance assets and equipment.
Continuous Improvement Responsibilities
- Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement root cause corrective actions.
- Initiate cost-reduction and energy-saving projects.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance equipment performance and productivity.
- Support lean manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and continuous improvement initiatives.
Reporting Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
- Monitor and report machine downtime, maintenance costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Present maintenance status, issues, and improvement plans to management.
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance planning skills.
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Pay: ₹17,500.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
