We are seeking a motivated S3D Piping Designer with 0–2 years of experience to join our engineering consultancy team. The candidate will support piping design and 3D modeling activities for industrial projects such as oil & gas, chemicals, petrochemicals, and process plants using Smart 3D (S3D). The role involves assisting senior designers and engineers in preparing piping layouts, 3D models, and drawings as per project standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop 3D piping models using Smart 3D (S3D) based on P&IDs, piping specifications, and equipment layouts.
Assist in preparation of piping layouts, isometrics, and GA drawings.
Route piping considering constructability, maintainability, and safety requirements.
Support clash detection and model review activities in the 3D environment.
Extract isometric drawings and reports from the S3D model.
Coordinate with piping engineers, stress engineers, and other disciplines such as civil, mechanical, and electrical.
Ensure drawings and models comply with project standards, codes, and client specifications.
Assist in preparing MTO (Material Take-Off) from the 3D model.
Update and maintain design documentation and model revisions
