Job Description: We are seeking skilled and compassionate Medical Officers with an MBBS qualification to join our dynamic team at Cadabam's. As a Medical Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing medical care and support to our clients with psychiatric disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting medical assessments and examinations of patients presenting with psychiatric disorders.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies based on patient needs and treatment goals.
- Monitoring patient progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Providing psychoeducation to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Participating in case conferences and treatment planning meetings with other healthcare professionals.
- Ensuring compliance with medical ethics, standards of practice, and legal regulations.
- Contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the organization.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
- Participating in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on advances in psychiatric medicine and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
- Prior experience in psychiatry or mental health settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to provide evidence-based medical care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
