AGM – Finance & Accounts (Financial Controller). The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial management, accounting operations, reporting processes, internal controls, compliance framework, and financial planning activities. This role requires a strategic yet hands-on finance leader with strong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen, and experience in FMCG, retail, or high-growth business environments.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Management Accounting
Prepare and publish accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including: o Balance Sheet o Profit & Loss Statement o Cash Flow Statement
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal reporting timelines.
Drive management accounting processes and provide actionable financial insights to leadership. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process across business functions.
Monitor budget utilization, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for corrective actions. Support business planning through financial modelling, scenario analysis, and profitability assessments.
Accounting Operations Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including: o General Ledger o Accounts Payable (AP) o Accounts Receivable (AR) o Billing & Sales Invoicing o Payroll Accounting o Cost Accounting Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all accounting transactions and processes. Internal Controls & Governance Develop, strengthen, and monitor internal financial controls, accounting policies, and business processes. Ensure robust governance practices and adherence to organizational policies and procedures. Identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiencies. Financial Analysis & Business Support Conduct detailed financial and operational analysis to evaluate business performance and identify key trends. Provide strategic financial recommendations to improve profitability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency. Partner with cross-functional teams to support business decision-making. Audit & Compliance Management Coordinate and manage statutory, internal, and tax audits. Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities. Ensure compliance with all applicable financial, statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management Monitor and manage organizational cash flow and liquidity position. Drive efficient working capital management through effective receivables, payables, and inventory control. Ensure timely vendor payments and collection management. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with senior leadership, promoters, directors, bankers, auditors, and external stakeholders. Present financial reports, insights, and business recommendations to management teams. Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting team members. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance function.
Pay: ₹2,800,000.00 - ₹3,100,000.00 per year
