JOB RESPONSIBILITIES OF PRINCIPAL
1. Pedagogical and Academic Leadership
Curriculum Implementation: Designing and executing the Annual Pedagogical Plan and integrating Experiential Learning across classes.
Academic Monitoring: Overseeing classroom teaching, conducting regular syllabus reviews, and organizing remedial classes for struggling students.
CBSE Guidelines: Enforcing Board policies, implementing NEP 2020, internal evaluations, and board examination protocols.
Scheduling: Design, and cross-check staff duties, school timetables.
2. Administration and Governance
- Affiliation Compliance: Ensuring the school strictly adheres to the CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws regarding infrastructure, teacher-student ratios, and safety protocols.
- School Operations: Allocating teaching loads, preparing master timetables, and managing daily attendance and discipline.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate student records, service books for staff, and official correspondence with state and CBSE authorities.
3. Faculty Development and Professional Growth: Guiding teachers, identifying training needs, and encouraging participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programs. Encouraging teachers to attend regular CBSE workshops and webinars to enable them to stay updated.
- Performance Evaluation: Appraising teacher performance, fostering self-improvement, and driving pedagogical innovations.
5. Stakeholder Communication and Culture
- Safe Campus: Building a positive school culture while ensuring strict adherence to health, hygiene, and emergency preparedness of students and teachers and other staff
- Parental Engagement: Playing a key role between parents, management, and the Board, while resolving grievances and communicating student progress.
- Extracurricular Activities: Supervise extracurricular programs to ensure holistic student development.
