We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records of the company.The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, GST, TDS, banking, invoicing and general accounting, and should be capable of independently handling routine accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping.
- Handle Sales & Purchase Invoices, Receipts, Payments and Journal Entries.
- Maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Perform regular Bank Reconciliation and cash reconciliation.
- Manage petty cash and day-to-day expenses.
- Prepare and maintain customer and vendor ledgers.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and receivables.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and records.
- Handle GST entries, reconciliation and coordination for GST filing.
- Handle TDS calculations, entries and documentation.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks and other external parties whenever required.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closing of accounts.
- Ensure all accounting records are accurate, updated and properly filed.
- Support management with financial data and reports as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / Commerce Graduate preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Practical knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Experience in Bank Reconciliation and Ledger Reconciliation.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting activities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Candidate
- Candidates currently based in Goa / North Goa will be preferred.
- Candidates who can join at short notice will be an advantage.
- Candidates with practical experience rather than only theoretical accounting knowledge are preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
