Position: Business Developement Manager

Key Responsibilities
· Sales Strategy Development: Creating and implementing sales plans to meet company targets, expand market share, and promote solar products.
· Team Management: Leading and mentoring a team of sales representatives, setting performance goals, and ensuring team productivity.
· Client Acquisition: Identifying potential clients, building relationships, and closing sales deals with residential, commercial, or industrial clients interested in solar energy solutions.
· Market Research: Analyzing market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
· Project Coordination: Collaborating with installation and engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution from sale to installation.
· Revenue Growth: Driving sales growth through partnerships, effective customer engagement, and upselling of products like solar panels, inverters, and storage systems.
· Customer Support: Providing after-sales support and addressing any customer concerns related to solar systems.
· Reporting: Monitoring sales metrics, preparing performance reports, and presenting them to senior management.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
· Proven 5 years of experience in solar/renewable energy sales or related technical sales.
- Strong understanding of solar products (rooftop, ground-mounted, on-grid/off-grid systems, inverters, batteries, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets under pressure.
- Willingness to travel extensively as per business needs.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in handling government/industrial/commercial solar projects.
- Familiarity with subsidy schemes, net metering policies, and DISCOM processes.
- Strong network in the renewable energy domain.
