The role involves defining test strategies, managing QA teams, collaborating closely with Development, Product Management, and Support, and ensuring that every product release meets high standards of performance, security, stability, and documentation completeness.
The QA Manager will also be responsible for final product release readiness, including user manuals, release notes, and internal documentation.
Define and own the overall QA strategy for networking and wireless products.
Build, mentor, and manage a QA team (manual + automation testers).
Establish QA processes, standards, KPIs, and best practices.
Drive continuous improvement in test coverage, efficiency, and defect prevention.
Own QA responsibility for documentation completeness and accuracy, including:
Product manuals
Installation guides
Configuration guides
Release notes
Ensure every final release is bundled with:
Coordinate with Product and Engineering teams to validate documentation against actual product behavior.
Ensure products comply with:
Track, analyze, and report:
Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems
Solid understanding of:
Experience testing network devices and cloud-managed platforms
Familiarity with OpenWrt, Ubuntu, or similar Linux distributions (preferred)
Proven experience managing QA teams
Strong project and release management skills
Ability to balance quality with delivery timelines
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Experience in networking OEM / ISP / enterprise Wi-Fi products
Exposure to OpenWrt, captive portals, controllers, or cloud networking
Experience with security testing and performance bench marking
Prior involvement in product certification or customer acceptance testing
