Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities and ensure smooth operations on the production floor. The role involves managing manpower, monitoring production processes, maintaining quality standards, and achieving production targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and achieve daily production targets
- Assign work to operators and production staff
- Monitor production workflow and machine utilization
- Ensure smooth production operations and efficiency
- Maintain product quality as per company standards
- Reduce rejection, wastage, and production downtime
- Follow and enforce safety rules and company policies
- Ensure availability of raw materials during production
- Maintain daily production reports and records
- Coordinate shift handover activities properly
- Train and guide production workers when required
- Maintain discipline and teamwork on the shop floor
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for machine-related issues
- Take corrective actions to avoid production delays
- Monitor WIP and inventory during production
- Ensure timely completion of customer orders
- Support continuous improvement activities and new processes
- Ensure compliance with operational and audit standards
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma / ITI / Graduate preferred
- 2–3 years of experience in production supervision or manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of production processes and shop-floor management
- Good leadership and coordination skills
- Ability to manage manpower and production activities efficiently
