Role Overview
The Legal Associate will be responsible for handling legal due diligence, property verification, drafting and vetting of legal documents, secured lending documentation, and coordination with advocates, borrowers, banks, and government authorities.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in real estate transactions, title verification, mortgage documentation, and property-related legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed legal due diligence and title verification of properties
- Examine title flow documents, ECs, Khata, RTC, sale deeds, conversion orders, approvals, and property-related records
- Draft, review, and vet:
- Loan agreements
- Mortgage documents
- MOUs
- Sale agreements
- Development agreements
- Lease agreements
- Security documents
- Legal notices and affidavits
- Coordinate with external advocates, borrowers, banks, NBFCs, and registration authorities
- Handle mortgage creation, MODT registration, and security perfection processes
- Identify legal and compliance risks in lending and property transactions
- Support recovery and enforcement-related legal matters wherever required
- Maintain legal MIS, documentation records, and case tracking
- Ensure compliance with applicable property, finance, and corporate laws
- Assist management in structuring secure real estate-backed transactions
Required Skills & Experience
- LLB degree from a recognized university
- 3–6 years of experience in:
- Real Estate Law
- Secured Lending
- Property Due Diligence
- Banking/NBFC legal operations
- Strong understanding of:
- Property documentation
- Mortgage laws
- RERA
- Registration procedures
- Lending and security creation
- Experience in handling registrar/sub-registrar office work
- Ability to independently scrutinize property files and identify legal risks
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal documentation management

Pay: ₹9,774.23 - ₹52,800.60 per month
