Transformer Electrical Design Engineer: Job highlights
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with experience in transformer design and knowledge of AutoCAD/Solidworks
- Design transformers, perform technical calculations, prepare BOM and documents, coordinate with teams, support tests and inspections, resolve manufacturing issues, handle customer queries
Experience: 2 - 6 year
Job Description:
Role & responsibilities:
- Design transformers as per customer specifications and standards.
- Perform calculations for losses, impedance, conductor sizing, temperature rise, etc.
- Prepare BOM, technical documents and production inputs.
- Coordinate with production, testing, QC and purchase teams.
- Support routine/type tests and customer inspections.
- Optimize designs for cost, quality and performance.
- Resolve technical issues during manufacturing and testing.
- Handle customer technical queries and approvals
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree/Masters in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in Transformer Electrical Design.
Preferred candidate profile:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in transformer design/manufacturing preferred
- Knowledge of Excel / design tools / AutoCAD preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination ability
Language’s known.: English, Hindi.
