About the Role
We are looking for a highly informed and politically aware Political Content Strategist & Researcher who can closely track Indian politics, current affairs, government policies, political developments and emerging public issues.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying relevant and trending political topics, conducting in-depth research, developing strong commentary angles, writing scripts and preparing clear talking points for a political leader.
This role requires someone who can understand what is happening in the news, why it matters, what the larger political context is, and how it can be presented effectively through digital content.
Key Responsibilities
- Closely monitor Indian politics, current affairs, government policies, Parliament, elections, political developments and major national issues.
- Identify trending, relevant and newsworthy topics that can be converted into social media/video content.
- Conduct detailed research using credible news sources, government documents, official statements, reports and other reliable sources.
- Analyse news beyond headlines and develop strong, fact-based political commentary and content angles.
- Write scripts for reels, videos, political commentary, statements and other digital formats.
- Convert complex political developments into simple, engaging and easy-to-narrate talking points.
- Prepare bullet points, key facts, arguments and counter-points for the political leader before recordings/interviews.
- Brief and narrate the script/talking points to the leader and ensure the intended messaging is clear.
- Suggest suitable formats for each topic — reel, video, static post, carousel, statement, tweet/X post, etc.
- Work closely with the social media team to ensure the content is adapted appropriately for different platforms.
- Understand the complete content production and distribution workflow, from topic selection and scripting to recording, editing, publishing and amplification.
- Provide inputs on captions, headlines, hooks, thumbnails and post copy wherever required.
- Coordinate with the Social Media, Creative, Video and PR teams for timely execution and publication.
- Stay updated with viral conversations, political narratives, public sentiment and emerging discussions across digital platforms.
- Maintain high standards of factual accuracy, political context and source verification.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
