Homedge Interior Pvt. Ltd. is a premium interior solutions and furniture brand offering modular furniture, loose furniture, and end-to-end turnkey interior projects to retail and B2B clients.
As we scale our operations across regions, we are seeking a high-calibre Business Development Manager (BDM) who combines the field energy of a Business Development Executive with the strategic thinking of a Sales Head.

Job Overview
The Business Development Manager sits at the intersection of field sales leadership and technical consultative selling.
You will travel across your assigned region alongside BDE team members, mentor and guide them in client interactions, and take the lead on high-ticket client meetings, proposal presentations, and deal negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Business Development & Field Sales
- Drive business development across the assigned region through client meetings, site visits, lead generation, and conversion alongside the BDE team.
- Build and nurture a strong pipeline by leveraging personal networks, researching prospective clients/HNIs, and converting opportunities into high-value business.
2. Technical Consultative Selling
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable interior solutions by coordinating with the Design and Estimation teams on drawings, BOQs, and proposals.
- Conduct technical discussions, site visits, and solution presentations to confidently bridge client requirements with project execution capabilities.
3. BDE Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Mentor and guide BDE team members during field visits by coaching them on sales techniques, client handling, and deal closures.
- Monitor regional sales activities, review performance, and provide regular feedback to improve productivity and achieve business targets.
4. Client Relationship & Network Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, developers, and HNI clients to generate repeat and referral business.
- Ensure a superior client experience by managing expectations, resolving escalations, and representing the company at industry networking events.
5. Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular updates on sales pipeline, regional performance, and market intelligence to the Sales Head.
- Coordinate effectively with Sales, Design, Estimation, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure timely proposal preparation and successful project execution.

Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience with minimum 2 – 3 years of hands-on experience specifically in the furniture industry
- Overall experience in interior solutions, interior design, furnishing, or related industries; combined field and management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of independently closing high-ticket deals in the furniture or interior solutions space.
- Working knowledge of interior design drawings, production layouts, AutoCAD / SketchUp, or equivalent technical tools.
- Strong existing network of architects, interior designers, builders, and HNI clients that can activate an immediate pipeline upon joining.
- Proven experience in field sales with willingness and ability to travel regularly across the assigned region.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior sales team members (BDEs or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
A dynamic, field-driven sales professional with 2–3 years of direct furniture industry experience, a proven record of independently closing high-value deals, a strong network of architects, designers, builders, and HNI clients, technical understanding of interior solutions, leadership capability to mentor BDEs, and the confidence to represent the brand effectively.
