Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Rubber Technologist with hands-on experience in Rubber Molding to manage and optimize molding operations, improve product quality, reduce defects, and support new product development. The candidate should have strong knowledge of rubber compounds, molding processes, curing parameters, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and optimize Compression, Transfer, and Injection Molding processes.
- Develop and optimize rubber compounds for molded products.
- Monitor molding parameters such as temperature, pressure, curing time, and cycle time.
- Ensure achievement of daily production targets with minimum rejection.
- Troubleshoot molding defects including flash, short mold, air traps, blisters, cracks, sink marks, porosity, and dimensional issues.
- Coordinate with the Mixing, Tool Room, Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments.
- Conduct process validation and support new product trials.
- Review customer drawings, specifications, and process requirements.
- Maintain process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and batch records.
- Implement Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor mold performance and coordinate preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer quality requirements.
- Train production operators on molding processes and quality standards.
- Analyze production and rejection data and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Required Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in Rubber Molding in a rubber manufacturing company.
- Experience in Compression Molding, Transfer Molding, and Injection Molding.
- Strong knowledge of Rubber Compounding and Vulcanization.
- Experience handling rubber compounds such as NR, NBR, EPDM, SBR, CR, Silicone, and FKM/Viton.
- Experience in mold setting, process optimization, curing cycle development, and machine parameter setting.
- Knowledge of rubber testing and inspection methods.
- Experience in manufacturing Automotive Rubber Parts, Bushes, Mountings, O-Rings, Seals, Gaskets, Bellows, Anti-Vibration Parts, LPG Hose Components, Hydraulic Hose Components, and Industrial Rubber Products.

Salary Range (India)
- 3–5 Years: ₹3.5 – ₹5.5 LPA
- 5–8 Years: ₹5.5 – ₹8.5 LPA
- 8+ Years: ₹8.5 – ₹12 LPA (depending on expertise and company)

- Diploma in Rubber Technology with hands-on experience in rubber molding operations.
- Proven ability to reduce rejection, improve productivity, and optimize molding processes.
