About Us
We are a licensed insurance corporate agency that started operations about a year ago. We are a small team of under five people focused on building something meaningful in the insurance space.
About the Role
You will be our first and only in-house Accountant. That means you are not joining an existing finance team - you are building the function from scratch. Current day-to-day volume is not heavy, but everything requires to be set up properly: bookkeeping, the compliance calendar, the processes, etc.
As the company grows, this role grows with it. We are looking for someone who does not need to be told how accounting works - you should already know, and need to figure out what needs to be done.

- Compute and deposit advance tax on schedule to avoid interest or penalties
- Maintain documentation and coordinate with our CA for annual income tax filing
- Track and respond to any notices from the Income Tax Department or GST portal
IRDAI regulatory compliance
- Submit all required compliance documentation under IRDAI corporate agency regulations on timely basis
- Support the preparation of IRDAI annual returns and any required financial disclosures
- Keep records organised and audit-ready in case of IRDAI inspection
- Stay updated on IRDAI circulars relevant to the financial obligations of a licensed broker
Payroll & statutory filings

- Maintain statutory registers and employee financial records
- Issue Form 16 to employees at year end
