Role overview
- We’re looking for a hands-on HR & Employee Engagement Executive to build and run HR operations You will manage end-to-end HR functions, drive employee engagement and welfare, run intern/volunteer programs, coordinate CSR partnerships, ensure compliance with Indian laws, and design scalable processes and workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage the HR function: maintain employee records (current & exited), contracts, attendance, and leave tracking.
- Recruitment & onboarding: candidate screening, orientation, JD library, and documentation.
- HR policies & compliance: draft and update policies (attendance, conduct, appraisal, grievance), set up PF, and ensure alignment with Indian labor laws and NGO requirements.
- Performance management: implement and maintain appraisal system.
- Employee engagement: design and run activities (team games, Fun Fridays, seasonal crafts, outings), manage grievance handling and staff welfare.
- Intern & volunteer programs: source via colleges and corporates, manage onboarding, documentation, task allocation, and certificates.
- CSR & corporate engagement: generate leads, design corporate engagement activities and stalls for festivals, coordinate capacity-building workshops for beneficiaries and staff.
- Training & committees: arrange POSH, POCSO, CPP trainings; form and maintain required committees.
- Vendor & trainer management: vet, onboard, draft MoUs, and manage relationships.
- Process design & cross-functional work: create HR workflows, collaborate with Accounts, Digital, and Production teams; support basic IT access issues and creative collateral for engagement drives.
Required qualifications & skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in HR, Business Administration, Social Work, or related field.
- 1–3 years HR experience, preferably in NGO/nonprofit sector; experience building HR processes preferred.
- Strong skills in end-to-end HR operations, policy drafting, 360 appraisals, employee engagement, intern/volunteer management, CSR liaisoning, POSH/POCSO compliance, vendor management, and process design.
- Good knowledge of Indian labor law and NGO compliance.
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive).
- Strong communicator, organized, proactive, empathetic, and culturally sensitive.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
