About Tricog Health
Tricog is a healthcare technology company building predictive diagnostic platforms for cardiovascular care. Our products run in real clinical environments and must meet high standards of accuracy, reliability, and data protection. We are scaling our engineering team and looking for engineers who take ownership, move fast, and care about what they build.
The Roles
We're hiring for two levels simultaneously:
- Full Stack Engineer (MERN) — 2 to 4 years experience
- Lead Full Stack Engineer (MERN) — 7 to 10+ years experience
Both roles are based in Bangalore and are full-time, on-site positions.
What You'll Work On
You will design, build, and maintain end-to-end features across frontend and backend systems — working closely with product managers, designers, QA, and clinical stakeholders to ship reliable, production-grade software.
At the engineer level,
you will own small-to-medium features independently, participate in code reviews, debug across environments, and proactively improve code quality and reliability.
At the lead level,
you will drive technical design decisions across the stack, break down ambiguous product requirements into executable plans, mentor senior and associate engineers, and ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and maintainable. This is a hands-on leadership role, not a people-manager-only position.

- Backend: Node.js, REST APIs
- Database: MySQL (mandatory), MongoDB (good to have)
- Language: JavaScript / TypeScript
- Cloud: AWS — EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch
- Tooling: Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker (good to have)
What We're Looking For — Full Stack Engineer
- 2 to 4 years of professional software engineering experience at a product company
- Strong hands-on proficiency across React.js and Node.js
- Solid MySQL experience — schema design, joins, indexing, query optimization (mandatory)
- TypeScript in production, not just awareness
- Real AWS hands-on experience
- Actively uses AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot, or similar) to improve productivity and code quality
- Strong ownership mindset — identifies and resolves problems without being told
- Comfortable with some ambiguity and evolving requirements
What We're Looking For — Lead Full Stack Engineer
- 7 to 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proven experience leading technical initiatives or engineering teams
- Deep expertise in React.js frontend architecture and Node.js backend systems
- Strong system design, data modeling, and security fundamentals
- Experience with production monitoring, incident response, and CI/CD at scale
- Sets guardrails for responsible AI-assisted development across the team
- Ability to mentor and influence without micromanaging
- Drives automation and tooling improvements that reduce cognitive load and improve developer experience
Nice to Have (Both Levels)
- Experience in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated domains
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or distributed systems
- Docker and containerized development
- Prior work with compliance or regulatory requirements
