Role Overview
We are looking for an Embedded / Firmware Engineer to develop and integrate device-side software for an AI-enabled security camera, covering camera sensors, video pipelines, AI runtime, device services, and SOC platform integration.
Key Responsibilities
· Integrate camera sensors, drivers, and video pipelines.
· Configure RTSP, H.264/H.265 streaming and encoding.
· Integrate AI runtime with camera pipelines.
· Implement device registration, telemetry, heartbeat, and SOC connectivity.
· Develop watchdog, network recovery, offline retry, and monitoring features.
· Support firmware versioning and OTA updates.
· Collaborate with hardware teams on BSP, SDK, NPU, and prototype integration.
Required Skills
· Strong C/C++ and Embedded Linux.
· Experience with camera/video development.
· RTSP, H.264/H.265, GStreamer / FFmpeg / V4L2.
· REST APIs and/or MQTT.
· Linux debugging and shell scripting.
· Hardware interfaces: UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO.
Preferred: NVIDIA Jetson, Qualcomm, Rockchip, Ambarella, Hailo, NXP, or similar edge-AI platforms.
Priority: High – Core Engineering Role.
