Role Summary
We are seeking a Techno-Functional leader to act as the primary bridge between our operational business requirements and our technical infrastructure. You will own our system architecture and vendor relationships, ensuring that our technical platforms are stable, efficient, and aligned with operational goals. This role is designed to take full ownership of the technical "filter"—managing system prioritization, bug resolution, and vendor accountability—so that the operations team can focus on execution.
Key Responsibilities
- System Ownership & Architecture: Oversee the end-to-end architecture of our integrated platforms. You will evaluate how systems interact, identify architectural flaws, and ensure the infrastructure supports operational scalability.
- Techno-Functional Leadership: Serve as the central point of contact for all technical requirements. You will translate operational needs into technical specifications and vice versa, ensuring that vendors and developers understand the business impact of their code or configurations.
- Technical Prioritization & Accountability: Manage the technical backlog. You will independently own the prioritization of bugs and new features, holding internal and external technical teams accountable for delivery timelines and code quality.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary interface for all technical vendors. You will bridge the communication gap, negotiate requirements, and ensure technical deliverables are met without requiring operational intervention.
- Problem Resolution & Troubleshooting: Perform deep-dive analysis on system discrepancies (e.g., inventory logic, menu data, API integrations). You are expected to diagnose technical bottlenecks independently and drive them to resolution.
- Process Design & Documentation: Build and maintain formal technical processes. This includes creating communication frameworks (e.g., ticketing systems or Slack channels) and training the team to ensure technical standards are consistently followed.
Qualifications
- Techno-Functional Expertise: Strong blend of business process knowledge and technical literacy. While deep hands-on coding is not the primary focus, a strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system architecture is essential.
- Architecture Mindset: Ability to map out system dependencies and understand the "logic" behind integrations. You should be able to look at a system and identify why it is failing.
- High-Impact Communication: Demonstrated ability to manage difficult technical stakeholders and vendor relationships. You must be comfortable pushing back on technical teams when necessary to protect operational timelines.
- Ownership: A proactive, self-starter mentality. You take responsibility for issues until they are closed, acting as the final authority on technical matters within the organization
