Job Description
Transforming and standardizing its global indirect procurement capabilities through SAP Ariba Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solutions and best-in-class procurement processes.
The Indirect Procurement Functional Analyst is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing SAP Ariba Buying, Guided Buying, Catalog Management, Requisition-to-Pay, and Invoice Management capabilities. The role partners with Procurement, Finance, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and user-friendly procurement solutions.
This position drives process standardization, user adoption, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives that maximize the value of procurement technology investments
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the functional subject matter expert for SAP Ariba Procure-to-Pay processes and any indirect buying processes in other platforms like Beeline Contingent Workforce, Candex, Coupa, GEP Quantum, ZIP etc.

Support and enhance SAP Ariba Buying, Guided Buying, Buying Channel Management, Catalog Management, Requisitioning, Approval Workflow Configuration, Purchase Orders, Receiving, and Invoice Management.

Partner with product owners to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Configure and maintain Ariba solutions in accordance with business needs and best practices.
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Build specifications and coordinate with technical teams for development, enhancements, interfaces, and IDoc processing.
Business Partnership

Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, AP, Compliance, and Shared Services teams.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
- Provide recommendations on process improvements and system enhancements.
- Support strategic procurement initiatives and digital transformation programs.
- Support product owner to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and convert them to technical requirements for procurement and supplier collaboration processes.
- Support product owner to prepare and conduct user training, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions.
Testing & Deployment

Develop functional specifications and test scenarios.
- Lead UAT activities and coordinate defect resolution.
- Support production deployments and post-go-live stabilization.
- Ensure solution quality and compliance with organizational standards.
- Perform functional testing, SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and deployment support activities.
Operational Support

Troubleshoot system and process issues and ensure timely resolution in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Manage enhancement requests and production support activities.
- Monitor system performance and user adoption.
- Support supplier enablement activities related to purchasing processes
- The Indirect Procurement Functional Analyst operates within Global Services (MGS) Digital Technologies as part of the global Procurement Technology product team, supporting enterprise indirect procurement and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) capabilities across segments and regions.
- This role collaborates closely with Global Process Owners, Procurement Operations, Finance, Accounts Payable, Product Managers, Functional Experts, Program Managers, vendor delivery partners, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, standardized, and user-centric procurement solutions leveraging SAP Ariba and related procurement technologies.
- The position participates in product governance forums, agile ceremonies, release planning, requirements gathering, backlog refinement, testing activities, and operational review meetings to ensure successful solution delivery, system stability, and continuous process improvement.
- The role also works closely with business partners, vendor teams, and cross-functional technology organizations to identify process optimization opportunities, drive adoption of procurement best practices, enhance user experience, improve compliance, and maximize the value of procurement technology investments across the enterprise
Job Specifications/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing certification preferred.
Experience supporting global procurement organizations.
Knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA procurement processes.
Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies.
Experience with Catalog Enablement and Supplier Enablement.
Procurement systems experience.
SAP Ariba functional experience.
Strong understanding of indirect procurement processes.
