Job Summary
ARB Buildcon is seeking a dedicated Store Officer to manage construction site stores and ensure the efficient receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of construction materials, tools, machinery, and consumables. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction site store operations, strong inventory management skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records while supporting uninterrupted project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify construction materials, equipment, and consumables delivered to the project site.
- Maintain proper storage of materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, electrical, plumbing, and finishing materials to prevent damage, pilferage, or deterioration.
- Issue materials to site engineers and contractors against approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
- Maintain accurate records of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), material issue slips, stock registers, and inventory transactions.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock verification and reconcile inventory with system records.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment of critical materials.
- Track material consumption and prepare inventory, consumption, and shortage reports for project management.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, stacking, and housekeeping of all stored materials.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Accounts departments for smooth material flow.
- Maintain records of tools, machinery, shuttering material, scaffolding, and other site assets.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, inventory controls, and audit requirements.
- Follow safety standards and ensure safe handling and storage of construction materials.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma in any discipline (preferred).
- 3–6 years of experience in construction site store management.
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of construction materials and site inventory management.
- Familiarity with store documentation, including GRNs, MRS, delivery challans, stock registers, and gate passes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/store management software.
- Strong inventory control and stock reconciliation skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction site environment.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
