JOB SUMMARY
Catalyst Education is looking for an enthusiastic, well-organized, and career-focused Placement Coordinator to manage placement activities, build relationships with companies, coordinate recruitment drives, and support students in securing suitable career opportunities at our Kannur branch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and manage placement drives and recruitment activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with companies, HR teams, and recruiters.
- Identify and source suitable job and placement opportunities for students.
- Coordinate interviews, aptitude tests, group discussions, assessments, and recruitment processes.
- Communicate placement opportunities, schedules, eligibility criteria, and requirements to students.
- Maintain accurate student placement records and databases.
- Assist students with CV preparation, interview preparation, and career guidance.
- Follow up with companies and students regarding interview results, selection status, and joining dates.
- Track placement progress, offers, selections, and joining status.
- Prepare regular placement reports for management.
- Organize career fairs, recruitment events, workshops, and industry interaction sessions.
- Support the branch in achieving placement and career-outcome targets.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in placements, recruitment, HR, counselling, or education is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong coordination, networking, and relationship-management abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment activities and deadlines.
- Student-focused and target-oriented approach.
- Freshers with excellent communication and coordination skills may also apply.
