Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company's financial records, daily accounting operations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and bookkeeping, ensuring accurate financial management and compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update day-to-day financial transactions and accounting records.
- Prepare and manage invoices, receipts, payments, and expense reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Verify driver/vendor payments and customer collections.
- Maintain accurate records of logistics transactions and operational expenses.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and management for financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or service-based industries will be an added advantage.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply.
