For more details visit: www.iserveu.in Role Overview:- We are seeking a high-caliber, deeply technical Principal Solution Architect to drive technical customer engagement, product evangelism, and solution architecture for our enterprise banking clients. Based out of our Chennai office, you will be the definitive technical voice of our product ecosystem. Your mission is two-fold: maintain absolute mastery over the complex, fast-evolving Indian payments landscape, and act as a trusted technical advisor to leadership teams at major commercial, retail, and cooperative banks. You will bridge the gap between core engineering and executive banking clients— delivering deep-dive technical demonstrations, articulating feature differentiation, and instilling absolute confidence that our architecture can flawlessly handle mission-critical transaction volumes. Core Responsibilities:- 1. Technical Customer Evangelism & Value Demonstration High-Impact Technical Demos: Lead end-to-end technical product demonstrations for C-suite executives, IT heads, and chief architects at prospective banks. Feature Differentiation: Clearly articulate how our platform stands out from legacy systems in terms of throughput, low latency, microservices architecture, automated failover mechanisms, and total cost of ownership (TCO). Instilling Banking Confidence: Address complex architectural, infrastructure, and deployment queries on the spot. Proactively mitigate risk concerns to convince highly risk-averse banking committees that our product will scale seamlessly to their needs. Proof of Concept (PoC) Ownership: Scrutinize RFP/RFI requirements from banks, design tailored technical solution blueprints, and oversee execution lines for high-stakes PoCs. 2. Payment Lifecycle & Architecture Mastery End-to-End Lifecycle Ownership: Maintain an authoritative understanding of the full lifecycle of Indian payment rails—including transaction switching, routing matrices, authorization loops, real time clearing, multi-party settlement, automated reconciliation, and dispute/chargeback management frameworks. Technical Protocols: Demonstrate deep familiarity with payment messaging standards (ISO 8583, ISO 20022, JSON/RESTful APIs), cryptographic hardware integrations (HSMs), and database management systems optimized for heavy transaction concurrency. 3. Compliance & Regulatory Alignment Indian Financial Guardrails: Ensure all solution architectures proposed to client banks perfectly align with the latest Reserve Bank of India (RBI) mandates and National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) procedural guidelines. Data & Security Mandates: Guide clients through our product's native compliance frameworks, including PCI-DSS, data localization laws, card tokenization rules, and strict access control guidelines. Requirements Candidate Profile & Experience Blueprint:- 1. Mandatory Industry Pedigree Payments Tech Background: You must have a proven track record of working on the technical/engineering side of an established Indian payments technology company. Direct experience at organizations providing payment switch/core-banking solutions is mandatory. Banking Domain Trust: Minimum 5-8 years of core technical experience, with at least 3+ years in a client-facing technical sales, solution engineering, or advisory role directly facing Indian banks. 2. Deep Transactional Expertise Extensive technical familiarity with the deployable life cycles of core Indian transaction products is required: Real-Time Retail Payments: UPI (Unified Payments Interface), IMPS, and AePS (Aadhar Enabled Payment System). High-Value & Batch Rails: NEFT, RTGS, and direct integrations with the RBI’s E-Kuber system. Value-Added Systems: BBPS (Bharat Bill Payment System), NACH, and comprehensive Card/POS/ATM switching ecosystems. 3. Exceptional Interpersonal & Communication Skills The "Engine Room to Boardroom" Translator: Ability to debate low-level database deadlocks or API structures with engineering teams in one hour, and deliver a polished, business-value driven presentation to a Bank MD in the next.
