Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Production Head – Electronics to lead our research and development activities, drive product innovation, manage new product development projects, and improve existing products. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in electronics design, product development, testing, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Electronics R&D team for product development and improvement projects.
- Drive new product development (NPD) from concept stage to final production.
- Develop, design, test, and validate electronic products and systems.
- Work on circuit design, PCB development, component selection, and prototype building.
- Conduct product testing, performance analysis, and reliability improvements.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancement, cost reduction, and process improvement.
- Prepare and maintain technical documents, design specifications, and engineering reports.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and Manufacturing teams for smooth product launches.
- Analyze product failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and quality guidelines.
- Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for technical discussions and component approvals.
- Support production teams during troubleshooting and technical issues.
- Manage engineering changes (ECR/ECN) and product lifecycle activities.
- Stay updated with latest technologies and market trends to support innovation.
- Mentor and guide the R&D team to improve technical capabilities.

Qualification:
- B.E / B. Tech / M. Tech in Electronics & Communication / Electrical / related field

- Experience in leading R&D teams preferred
