Buildryt is seeking a skilled Civil Site Engineer in Bengaluru to manage and oversee building construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion while coordinating across multidisciplinary teams.
Job Brief
The Civil Site Engineer at Buildryt will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing construction projects, including residential, commercial, and institutional buildings. The role involves coordinating with architects, contractors, and consultants, ensuring adherence to project specifications, building codes, and safety standards. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, detail-oriented, and capable of managing teams to deliver projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and safety protocols .
- Prepare site plans, specifications, and perform geotechnical analysis, including soil testing for structural foundations .
- Conduct surveys, measurements, and technical inspections throughout all phases of construction .
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and provide problem-solving solutions to maintain timelines and budgets .
- Coordinate communication between architects, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients .
- Ensure high-quality workmanship, adherence to material standards, and regulatory compliance .
- Track resource allocation, manage material procurement, and optimize labour and equipment usage .
- Prepare regular reports detailing site progress, costs, and risk management matters .
- Promote and enforce occupational health and safety practices, including regular inspections and audits .
- Support project planning, scheduling, and budgeting, utilizing tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, and Excel .
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred for senior roles .
- Minimum of 2 years of site engineering or building construction experience, with higher experience preferred for large-scale projects .
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, structural analysis, materials, and building codes .
- Proficiency in project management and design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, and other relevant CAD tools .
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills .
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work on-site for extended periods, adapt to varying conditions, and travel between project sites when required .
Work Environment
- On-site presence required at residential, commercial, or high-rise construction projects .
- Close collaboration with contractors, clients, architects, engineers, and internal project teams.
- Hands-on role requiring enforcement of safety, quality assurance, and adherence to project timelines
Pay: ₹210,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per year
