Job Description: Business Development Executive - SolidWorks CAD
Role Type: Full-time, Direct Sales, B2B sales

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Sales: Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities for SolidWorks and 3DEXPERIENCE portfolio solutions.
Customer Engagement: Understand client technical requirements, pain points, and workflows to propose appropriate design solutions.
Technical Demonstrations: Conduct online or on-site product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting the value of SolidWorks.
Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, qualification, and proposal generation to negotiation and closing.
Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain detailed records in CRM.
Collaboration: Work closely with application engineers for pre-sales technical support.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in sales or business development, specifically in CAD/CAE software or mechanical design.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of CAD/CAM/CAE technologies and engineering design processes.
Sales Skills:
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and conducting effective negotiations.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presentations and client meetings.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for CAD software and SolidWorks
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments
Analyze competitor activity and market trends to refine sales approach
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Manage relationships with key accounts and strategic clients
Support the team in closing deals, negotiating contracts, and handling escalations
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive engagement
Lead Management & Sales Pipeline
Oversee the lead generation, follow-up, and conversion processes
Maintain an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline in CRM
Monitor pipeline health and progress of deals towards closure
Pre-Sales & Technical Support
Assist the team with product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution discussions
Provide inputs for proposals, quotations, and RFP responses
Understand SolidWorks features and applications to support customer requirements
Reporting & Performance Analysis
Prepare sales reports for management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Track KPIs such as lead conversion rate, sales targets, and revenue growth
Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions to meet targets
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience in CAD software sales, specifically SolidWorks
Proven leadership or team management experience
Strong understanding of sales processes and CRM tools
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in B2B or enterprise software sales
Familiarity with engineering design workflows and CAD applications
Ability to train and mentor a high-performing sales team
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
