Assist the Head Chef and senior chefs in daily food preparation and cooking.
Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring as required.
Cook and plate dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
Support the preparation of buffet, à la carte, banquet, and bulk food orders.
Ensure food quality, freshness, and portion control.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
Store food items properly and monitor stock rotation (FIFO).
Assist with inventory checks and report shortages or damaged items.
Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
Work efficiently under pressure and support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
Perform any other kitchen duties assigned by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
