The Role
We're hiring Category Interns to work alongside our Category Managers and take real ownership of how a category grows. This is a hands-on, generalist role: you'll rotate across two or more of the functions below, get clearly defined metrics for each, and own the outcomes.
It's designed as a fast track. Prove yourself against your metrics within 3 months, and you'll be offered a full-time Associate Category Manager role.
What you'll work on (2 or more of these pillars)
- Sales – Track the sales funnel, support sales teams across cities, and drive category revenue.
- Warehousing – Coordinate warehouse operations to keep inventory and fulfilment running smoothly across the chain.
- Vendor Management – Build and manage relationships across the vendor ecosystem (factories, distributors, importers) to source better and faster.
- Visual Merchandising – Own how the category shows up in our experience centers-displays, sample walls, layouts, and the in-center browsing journey.
- New Collections & Trends – Develop knowledge of designs, supply chain, and emerging trends; help launch and roll out new collections at speed.
- Net Margin – Understand the bottom-line drivers and help systematically improve collections to expand category margin.
Each pillar comes with clearly defined metrics. Within three months, you're expected to hit them.
You're a good fit if you...
- Are a self-starter who's comfortable owning outcomes, not just tasks.
- Thrive as a generalist and can adapt to the ambiguity of an early-stage startup.
- Have strong problem-solving and analytical ability; comfort with Excel is essential, and SQL / BI tools are a plus.
- Have an execution-first mindset-you can juggle sales centers, in-office teams, warehouse, and vendors without dropping the ball.
- Bring a firm focus on targets and deadlines, and collaborate well to hit team goals.
What we offer
- Internship stipend: ₹30,000/month
- Fast-track conversion: Hit your 3-month metrics → Associate Category Manager offer, full-time
- Associate Category Manager compensation: ₹8-12 LPA, based on experience and performance
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
