Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Painting Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and coating applications, with a proven track record of managing teams and projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage painting projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all painting work is completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
- Train and mentor junior painters.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
- Order and manage painting supplies and materials.
- Resolve any issues or problems that arise during projects.
- Develop and implement painting schedules and timelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Monitor and manage project budgets.
- Ensure proper maintenance and storage of painting equipment.
- Provide regular progress reports to project managers and clients.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Coordinate with other trades and contractors as needed.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Painting Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Ability to train and mentor junior team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus.
