Job Description
A leading Pens Manufacturing Company is looking for an experienced and responsible HR Manager to independently manage complete HR operations. The candidate should have strong knowledge of recruitment, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, employee relations and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR operations.
- Handle recruitment, interviews, onboarding and employee documentation.
- Maintain attendance, leave, overtime and payroll-related records.
- Coordinate and verify monthly salary processing.
- Handle PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, bonus, gratuity and other statutory compliances.
- Maintain employee personal files, appointment letters and HR records.
- Manage contract labour and contractor compliance.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Prepare HR policies, warning letters and other official HR communications.
- Manage employee exit formalities and full-and-final settlement coordination.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and company policies.
- Prepare HR MIS and management reports using MS Excel.
- Coordinate manpower planning with different departments.
- Support employee engagement, training and performance-management activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in HR will be preferred.
- Relevant experience in HR operations, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Good knowledge of payroll and statutory compliance.
- Practical knowledge of PF, ESIC, Professional Tax and applicable labour laws.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and email communication.
- Good communication, problem-solving and people-management skills.
- Ability to independently handle complete HR activities.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Immediate joiner or candidate serving a short notice period.
- Candidates residing in Kolkata or nearby areas will be preferred.
Compensation
Salary will be decided based on the candidate’s experience, current salary, skills and performance during the interview.
