Job Summary
The Lounge / Bar Host is responsible for welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience in the lounge or bar area. The host acts as the first point of contact for guests and maintains a professional, friendly, and organized atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
- Escort guests to tables or lounge seating.
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently.
- Maintain the waiting list and inform guests about waiting time.
- Coordinate with the bar team and service staff for smooth seating.
- Ensure the lounge/bar area is clean, organized, and presentable.
- Assist guests with menu information and basic recommendations.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and report issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain proper grooming and professional appearance at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum Plus Two / Diploma in Hospitality preferred.
- 1–2 years experience in hospitality, lounge, bar, or restaurant service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work in evening and night shifts.
- Basic knowledge of food & beverage service.
