Position Overview
We are seeking a highly articulate and experienced Principal Oracle EBS Technical Consultant to lead the technical design, development, and integration of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ecosystem. This role requires a heavy focus on financial modules—specifically Oracle Payables (AP) and iExpense—and demands a technical expert who can seamlessly connect EBS with third-party systems using modern integration protocols.
As a Principal Consultant, your exceptional communication skills will be critical as you collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and external technical teams to deliver high-quality, scalable enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Integration & API Development
Modern Integrations: Design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions connecting Oracle EBS with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP web services.
EBS Integration Repository: Leverage the Oracle Integration Repository and Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG) to expose EBS standard and custom APIs as RESTful services.
Data Synchronization: Build and optimize secure inbound/outbound interfaces to ensure real-time and batch data consistency across enterprise platforms.
Module Expertise (Payables & iExpense)
Financial Customizations: Design and implement technical solutions, custom workflows, and extensions specifically tailored for Oracle Payables (AP) and Oracle iExpense.
End-to-End Flows: Support and enhance critical business processes including invoice processing, payment cycles, expense report routing, credit card feeds, and reimbursement approvals.
Standard APIs: Utilize standard Oracle open interfaces and APIs for data conversion and transactional processing within the AP and iExpense modules.
Technical Leadership & Communication
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary technical point of contact, using excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms for stakeholders.
Technical Design: Author comprehensive technical design documents (MD070) and integration specifications.
Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior developers, enforcing best practices, code reviews, and robust documentation standards.
Core Technical & Module Skills
Oracle EBS Experience: 10+ years of technical experience with Oracle EBS (R12.2 preferred).
Functional Domain Knowledge: Deep technical understanding of Oracle Payables (AP) and Oracle iExpense tables, schemas, and standard processes.
Integration Expertise: Proven track record of developing and deploying REST APIs within an Oracle EBS environment.
Core Tech Stack: Mastery of PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Workflow, XML/BI Publisher (RICEW)
Professional & Soft Skills
Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to facilitate technical discussions with both developers and business leaders seamlessly.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills for debugging complex integration issues and performance bottlenecks in PL/SQL or API payloads.
