Basant Rubber Factory is an ISO 9001 & ISO 22163 certified company engaged in development and supply of rubber, rubber-metal bonded and plastics products.
We are looking to hire a Quality Manager to manage, supervise and enforce the company's quality objectives and goals.
Job Description:
As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the quality management system (QMS) for our facility, ensure continued compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 22163, and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the plant. You'll be the key link between production, quality control and certification bodies — making sure what we build meets spec, on time, every time.
Key duties / responsibilities:
- Maintain, audit, and continuously improve the QMS in line with ISO 9001 / ISO 22163 (IRIS) requirements.
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external/certification body audits/inspections.
- Manage APQP, PPAP, and FMEA processes for new and existing product introductions.
- Investigate non-conformances, customer complaints, and warranty issues; drive root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why).
- Manage supplier quality — audits, scorecards, and corrective actions with key vendors.
- Maintaining documentation and reports of all projects undertaken and progress updates.
Educational / Professional Requirements:
- Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial)
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in similar role / background
- Experience leading or supporting third-party certification audits
- Strong communication skills — comfortable presenting to customers, auditors, and executive leadership
- Hands-on and strong experience with ISO 9001 / 22163
- Willingness to work on shop-floor
Pay: ₹550,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
