Position: HR Executive
Department: Human Resources
Location: Hotel Vishnu Palace, Mussoorie
Reports To: General Manager
Job Summary
The HR Executive is responsible for supporting all human resource functions in the hotel, including recruitment, onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, employee engagement, statutory compliance, training, and employee relations. The role ensures smooth HR operations while maintaining high standards of professionalism and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate manpower requirements with department heads.
- Source, screen, and schedule candidate interviews.
- Complete joining formalities and employee documentation.
- Conduct induction and orientation for new employees.
Employee Records & HR Administration
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.
- Update attendance, leave, and employee databases.
- Issue appointment letters, confirmation letters, experience letters, and other HR documents.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
Attendance & Payroll
- Monitor daily attendance and shift records.
- Verify leave, overtime, and monthly payroll inputs.
- Coordinate with the Accounts department for salary processing.
Employee Relations
- Address employee queries and resolve workplace issues.
- Support grievance handling and disciplinary procedures.
- Organize employee engagement activities and celebrations.
Training & Performance
- Coordinate employee training programs.
- Maintain training records.
- Assist in performance appraisal and confirmation processes.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with hotel HR policies and labor laws.
- Support statutory compliance related to employee records.
- Assist during audits and inspections.
Exit Management
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Complete full and final settlement documentation.
- Process relieving letters and experience certificates as per company policy.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of recruitment and employee lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with payroll, attendance, and leave management.
- Good understanding of labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and HRMS software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
