Job Summary
The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the textile showroom, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and managing the showroom team effectively. The role focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction, improving store performance, and ensuring smooth operational activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations
- Supervise day-to-day showroom activities.
- Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Monitor product displays and maintain merchandising standards.
- Ensure smooth opening and closing of the showroom.
Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and guide sales associates and floor staff.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor staff performance.
- Conduct training sessions and provide performance feedback.
- Maintain discipline and promote a positive work environment.
Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support.
- Assist customers in product selection and purchase decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Promote cross-selling and upselling of products.
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock availability and replenishment.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and suppliers for stock requirements.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and inventory checks.
- Minimize stock loss and inventory discrepancies.
Visual Merchandising
- Ensure attractive product displays and seasonal promotions.
- Highlight new arrivals and special offers effectively.
- Maintain showroom presentation in line with company standards.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with management regarding store performance and operational requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any Degree.
- 2–5 years of experience in retail showroom/store operations.
- Experience in textile, fashion, apparel, or retail industry preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good customer handling and sales management abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory control and merchandising practices.

- Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹22,000 per month.
