We are looking for a Specialist - Design (Aircraft), who thrives in a high performance and fast paced technical environment As a Specialist within the Design (Aircraft) team, you will be responsible for performing all critical tasks, ensuring that our customer receives a great product.

Design aircraft components/assemblies in CAD (3D models and 2D drawings) per requirements, interfaces, and packaging constraints

Create and maintain engineering definition: GD&T, materials, finishes, special processes, and design notes

Coordinate analyses/verification inputs (stress/FEA, tolerances, manufacturability) and close actions before release

Execute engineering release in PLM: part numbering, BOM/EBOM, effectivity, revision control, and release packages

Manage engineering changes (ECR/ECO): impact assessment, documentation updates, and timely release to production

Prepare and maintain SOPs and build process documentation to support manufacturing, inspection, and engineering change workflows

Support First Article Inspection (FAI/FAIR) and prepare/review inspection reports by ensuring drawing characteristics, ballooning, and measurement plans are complete and clear

Drive automation/standardization of engineering change and release activities (templates, checklists, PLM workflows) to improve cycle time and quality

Make designs production-ready by driving DFM/DFA, defining critical characteristics, and aligning tooling, inspection, and process requirements with manufacturing and quality

Resolve drawing/BOM issues and support /non-conformances with corrective design updates

Qualification: BE/ME in Mechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical

4+ years’ experience in mechanical/aerospace Domain specially in component design and release

Strong CAD detailing skills (3D/2D), drawing practices, and configuration control and drawing release workflows

Working knowledge of GD&T, fits/tolerances, aerospace materials, and manufacturing processes

Fluent understanding & competency of quality management systems and ISO9001/AS9100 standards

Hands-on experience with PLM/engineering release processes (part numbers, revisions, ECR/ECO, EBOM)

Ability to drive closure with cross-functional teams (stress, manufacturing, quality, supply chain)

Clear written and verbal communication for release notes, change justifications, and technical queries

Exposure to aircraft regulatory/industry requirements impacting drawings and configuration (as applicable to program)

Proficiency in CAD tools (eg, CATIA/NX/SolidWorks/Auto-CAD) and drawing release workflows
