Roles and Responsibilities:

Prepare specifications and design basis documents for civil and structural works.

Develop civil and structural designs in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.

Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), cost estimates, and civil drawings based on input documents in a timely manner.

Interpret process documents, bought‑out equipment details, layouts, HFD, and PFD to generate accurate civil drawings.

Perform technical bid evaluations (TBE) and support preparation of proposal estimates.

Execute SAP-related activities for project tracking and documentation.
-
Coordinate with cross‑functional disciplines to ensure smooth project execution and interface management.
-
Interact with vendors for design development and technical clarifications.
-
Conduct quality checks of RCC and steel structural drawings and suggest cost optimization improvements.
-
Manage BOM control and assist in proposal estimation activities.
-
Support site activities, including visits to resolve site queries and ensure implementation as per design.
-
Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
Skills and Experience Required:

Educational Qualification: BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Strong knowledge of Indian and American codes and standards for civil and structural design.

Proficiency in design software such as STAAD, Tekla, and similar structural analysis tools.
-
Hands‑on experience in drafting and documentation tools such as AutoCAD (ACAD), Mathcad, etc.

Relevant site experience in civil/structural projects.
-
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a practical, solution‑oriented approach.

Experience in preparation of cost estimates, BOQs/BOMs, and proposal support activities.
-
Knowledge of SAP for project and material management activities.
-
Ability to interpret engineering documents like PFD, HFD, layouts, and equipment drawings.
-
Experience in vendor coordination, design reviews, and technical discussions.
-
Good understanding of RCC and steel structural design and detailing.
-
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
