Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting doctors, and ensuring smooth functioning of the assigned ward/ICU. The role involves patient monitoring, medication administration, and maintaining accurate documentation as per hospital protocols.
Key Responsibilities
1. Patient Care
- Provide direct nursing care to patients as per treatment plan
- Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities to doctors
- Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
- Maintain patient hygiene and comfort
2. Clinical Duties
- Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed
- Assist doctors during procedures and rounds
- Handle emergency situations efficiently (CPR, code blue, etc.)
- Manage ICU/ward equipment and ensure readiness
3. Documentation
- Maintain accurate nursing records and reports
- Ensure proper charting of medications and treatment
- Follow NABH documentation standards
4. Infection Control
- Follow hospital infection control protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization standards
- Proper biomedical waste segregation
5. Coordination
- Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, and other departments
- Communicate effectively with patients and relatives
- Ensure smooth handover between shifts
6. Equipment & Inventory
- Check and maintain medical equipment
- Ensure availability of required consumables
- Report any malfunction to biomedical team
Qualifications
- GNM / B.Sc Nursing
- Registered with State Nursing Council
Experience
- 0–2 years (Freshers can apply)
- ICU/Cardiac experience preferred (if applicable)
Skills Required
- Good clinical knowledge and patient care skills
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Ability to handle emergency situations
- Basic computer knowledge for documentation
Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts (Morning / Evening / Night)
- Week-offs as per hospital policy

- Nurse In-Charge / Nursing Superintendent
Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
