We are looking for a Product Documentor to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products/services. You will work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to make our products/services easier to use.
Key responsibilities
- Working co-op with product managers, product designers, and other stakeholders.
- Working in the information development cycle to draft, revise, and validate a series of technical documents.
- Assisting in writing technical documentation in different cases including white papers, case studies, user manuals, and more.
- Offering suggestions to improve technical documentation.
- Designing, writing, updating, and maintaining various online guides and documentation.
- Proofreading various new technical documents and other deliverables before they reach the editors.
- Researching on competitor products and services and working out any issues in their technical documentation. After that, develop a plan to ensure that the organization's products and services don’t make the same mistake and update any relevant documentation.
- Determining the needs of users of technical documentation.
- Working with technical staff to make products and instructions easier to use.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
- Excellent written skills in English
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
