Receptionist / Front Office Executive

Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and well-organized Receptionist to manage front desk operations at a government office located in JC Road, Bangalore. The candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and administrative support. The ideal candidate should be proficient in reading, writing, and typing in Kannada on a computer, and should also have knowledge of typing official government letters and documents, along with basic social media handling skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist visitors, citizens, and officials in a professional manner
- Manage front desk operations and maintain visitor records
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Provide accurate information regarding office services and procedures
- Draft, format, and type official government letters, notices, circulars, and reports
- Read and type documents in Kannada and basic English
- Maintain files, records, and office documents systematically
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and schedules
- Support administrative tasks such as printing, scanning, and data entry
- Manage basic social media platforms by posting updates, announcements, and public notices
- Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the reception area
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: PUC / Any Degree preferred
- Ability to read, write, and type Kannada efficiently in computer systems
- Experience or knowledge in typing government letters and official correspondence
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Email)
- Basic knowledge of social media management (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp updates, etc.)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Pleasant personality with professional behavior
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in reception, administration, or office support is an advantage
- Familiarity with government office procedures and documentation is preferred
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
