The Foundation works closely with schools, colleges, and community stakeholders to design programs that build aspiration, enhance life skills, and support long-term livelihood pathways. Its initiatives include mentorship programs, exposure visits, and community-driven engagement models that aim to create sustainable impact at the grassroots level.
Role Overview:-
The General Manager will lead the overall functioning of the Foundation, driving strategy, program execution, partnerships, and organizational development. This role requires a high level of ownership and the ability to operate across multiple functions including program design, fundraising, operations, and governance. The position is suited for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a dynamic, resource-constrained environment.
Key Responsibilities:-

Translate the Foundation’s vision into actionable strategies and annual plans
Work closely with the Board to define growth and impact priorities
Strengthen organizational systems, processes, and governance frameworks
Drive innovation and scalability across programs

Lead the development and execution of education, mentorship, and exposure-based programs
Ensure programs are outcome-oriented and aligned with beneficiary needs
Oversee monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement of programs
Use data and field insights to refine program delivery

Build and manage relationships with educational institutions, community stakeholders, and partners
Engage donors and supporters through regular communication and reporting
Represent the Foundation in meetings, events, and external forums

Fundraising and Resource Mobilization
Develop and execute fundraising strategies across individual and institutional donors
Identify and build new funding partnerships
Ensure donor reporting, compliance, and retention
Support campaign-based and grassroots fundraising initiatives

Oversee day-to-day operations of the organization
Manage and mentor staff, volunteers, and program leads
Define performance expectations and ensure accountability
Build a collaborative and mission-driven work culture

Manage budgets, cash flow, and financial planning
Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and operational expenses
Maintain compliance with legal, financial, and audit requirements
Implement financial controls and reporting systems

Develop and implement internal policies including data protection and ethical standards
Ensure adherence to governance frameworks across all activities
Maintain documentation and organizational accountability systems
Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting
Establish systems to track program outcomes and organizational impact
Prepare reports for Board members, donors, and stakeholders
Use insights to guide strategic and operational decisions
Qualifications and Experience:-
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Social Work, Management, Development Studies, or related fields
5 to 10 years of relevant experience in nonprofit management, program leadership, or similar roles
Demonstrated experience in handling multi-functional responsibilities including programs, operations, and partnerships

Work Structure and Expectations:-
This is a full-time, work-from-office role
The organization follows a six-day work week (Monday to Saturday)
The role requires regular field engagement and interaction with beneficiaries and partner institutions
Candidates should be comfortable working in evolving environments with limited resources
Travel may be required based on program and partnership needs
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,833.00 per month
