Qualification
- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council registration.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as a Scrub Nurse in an Operation Theatre.
- Experience in handling multiple surgical specialties is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating theatre before surgical procedures.
- Ensure all surgical instruments, implants, and consumables are available and sterile.
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments and maintaining the sterile field throughout the procedure.
- Count instruments, needles, and sponges before, during, and after surgery.
- Adhere to hospital infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate OT records and documentation.
- Handle surgical specimens according to hospital policy.
- Report equipment malfunctions and ensure proper maintenance of OT instruments.
- Participate in emergency surgeries and on-call duties as assigned.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
